March 1st sees the first anniversary of my Daughter and Son-in-law, so this card has been made for them. At the same time I've used the colours for this month's colour challenge on the Chocolate Baroque challenge blog. I started with some plain white card and Distress Inks in Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard seed, with a blending tool I coloured the background. I used stamps from the Fluttering Hearts and Punky Hearts sets, first over stamping the background with the Harlequin Hearts and True Love stamps. Then I stamp the Heart Flowers with the Bird and Butterfly onto the background and coloured with matching Distress Pens then cut out and added with glue gel. Lastly I stamped the Bird and Heart onto white card and again coloured with matching Distress Pens. I just need to add the sentiment when I find where I put the stamp.
Luckily my daughter does not read my blog so I'm able to post this card on here now.

Heartfelt
I love the stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations, so when Create and craft had a show from CHA at the beginning of the year I just had to buy the 2 kits that they showed. With March and April being very busy month Birthday and Anniversary wise for me, I thought I would make a head start on the cards. I'm not sure who this will go to yet, so will leave the sentiment until later. The card is an A5 white card base and the backing paper from the collection. I edged the paper in a cerise coloured marker, before attaching to the card. I stamped the image with memento Black Onyx and coloured with spectrum noir pencils. I used a die cut by X-cut once the image was coloured and also another larger layer. I stamped out the branches, leaves and flowers in white card again with the memento and then used inks and daubers to colour them. I added the corners which are Tattered Lace dies then the branches and flowers.
I'm going to enter this into this months challenge at Stamping Sensations which is Anything Goes,
and Creative Fingers which is also Anything Goes.

Better Late Than Never
Last month when the Chocolate Baroque challenge blog posted the colours for the current challenge, I sorted stamps out that I thought I would use. Then they sat on my worktop unused. I realised this morning that the time was nearly up for this challenge, so after a quick play here is my entry. I used Distress inks in the following colours, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Barn Door and Vintage Photo along with the Wild Meadow set of stamps and the Amazing Birthday set for the sentiment. I must get more organised for the next challenge and hopefully I won't be so late.

Bright And Beautiful With Lavinia
I've had the brayer out again today and also my Gelli plate for the current challenge over on the Lavinia Challenge blog, which is Bright And Beautiful. I put a base colour onto the Gelli plate using a Stampin Up stamp pad Tangelo Dream, and then using a template for hills and using the same colour continued with a blending tool to complete the background. Then I added the fairy, flowers, fern and mushrooms, finally adding the sentiment and the butterflies. I added a little glitter to the wings and used stickles for the butterfly trails. When I had finished I went around the outside with a blending tool and more of the same coloured ink, then mounted it onto a brown 6x6 card base.
Thanks for taking to the time to look and for your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Floral Frenzy With CD Sunday
This card has been made for the CD Sunday challenge this week, which is Floral Frenzy. I've used Joanna Sheen's The Janet Kruskamp Collection for this card. It's on an 8x8 card base with gold mirri card for the matting, layering and corners, and ribbon from my stash. The flowers are Arianne Blooms from Heartfelt Creations as well as the leafy swirls. I don't know where the time has disappeared to the last couple of weeks. I'm hoping to have a day crafting tomorrow, but you never know what is about to crop up.

Some New Stamps
Last week I ordered some new stamps that have just been released by Inkylicious. And as you know from previous posts I have been having a bit of a sort in my Craftroom. These new stamps were sat waiting to be put away, but before doing so I had found enough bits scattered around to make this card. The white stamp card was an off cut from a previous project and after stamping and colouring I popped it onto an off cut of gold mirri card. The backing paper I'm sure was from a Joanna Sheen CD, but it's been printed off and left for so long I can't remember which one. I even had an A4 sheet of card floating around on the worktop which I folded in half to make the card base. The sentiment stamp is from Chocolate Baroque called Fairyland Words.
