CD Sunday - On Safari

Well it's my last week as Guest Designer on the CD Sunday challenge blog. I've really enjoyed my stint, and would like to thank the wonderful ladies who run the blog for the opportunity to be part of the team for a short while. For this weeks challenge I've used Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection (this is one of my favorite discs) and the baby elephant design. I used a piece of silver centura pearl card for the card base, and some black card along with the silver centura pearl for matting and layering. I printed both backing papers using the patterned one for the backing and the baby elephant one as a border (the backing paper lent itself to this, as the elephants were in line across the page). I mounted the largest topper and the smallest and used both of them on the card, then just added some card candi to 2 of the corners. I've chosen not to put a sentiment on this card at this time as it will go into my box as a ready card, I can add the sentiment when I need it.

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Sue

I too love this elephant image and lots more of the ones on that CD. You've made a lovely card with the images - clever use of the paper for the border

Hi Sue. Thank you so much for your inspirational cards for our Blog. This one is yet another. I love the image. Reminds me of my late Father as he loved elephants and used to collect carved wooden ones. Some quite large.
