It's been a good two months since I last took part in the Craft A Scene challenge, but this month I've managed to make a Winter Scene to join in. I think this must be almost the last Christmas card that I've had to make, and it's for my lovely Mum. I've stamped onto glossy card, using stamps from Chocolate Baroque, the church from the Sunburst Scenes and the trees from the Terrific Treescapes, the stags both the small and the large are from Indigo Blu, and lastly I used the branch and thistle from the Little Bit Scenic Range by Sheena Douglas, available from Crafters Companion. I've used a range of blue ink pads all from Ranger, some Adirondack and some Distress to colour the scene just adding a little promarker in browns for the Stag and the Church with some green for the evergreen tree and bushes beside it. I finished the scene by adding the snow which was achieved by using a Sakura jelly roll pen in white, and added lots of stars to give the feeling of it being bright and frosty.I mounted the image onto some matt silver mirri card, the backing paper is from the Seasons Greetings CD by Artylicious, available from Chocolate Baroque, this was also mounted onto matt silver mirri card. It was all popped onto an 8x8 navy blue card base.
Thank you for taking the time to look, and you kind comments which are always appreciated.
Sue
