I've decided to get an early start on the FYI challenge this month, normally I print off the photo, pop it onto the wall in my craft room until I can think yes that's what I'm going to do. However the last 2 challenges I've done this, got the stamps out, popped them onto the side ready to use and missed the deadline. I knew what I was going to do almost straight away this time, so no printing off the photo, I just got the stamps out and made a start. I was also inspired by the very talented Eileen Godwin at Eileen's Crafty Zone, as well as the photo below.
I used some pan pastels onto an off cut of white card stock and laid down the colours to give the effect of the setting sun. Then with my Lavinia stamps I set about making this scene of the rabbits playing underneath an old oak tree. When I had finished it, I went around the outside of the card with a brown pro marker, then I popped it onto a cream coloured 6x6 card base. The sentiment is from a Sheena Douglas set.
Thanks for taking the time to look, and your kind comments which are always appreciated.
