Craft A Scene Week 3 - Let It Be Spring

Nothing says springtime to me more than to see the Daffodils opening their yellow heads to the sun. There are plenty about along the roadsides and in the gardens now, which is why I decided to use them on my card this week. I started with the Daffodil stamp which is from Chocolate Baroque and the masked them off while I overstamped with stamps from Hobby Art to create this Cottage in the Country scene. I then coloured it in using Aqua coloured pencils, before mounting onto matching card. So far I've not added a sentiment, but it looks to me like it would make an ideal New Home Card.

Thanks for taking the time to look, and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue

I totally agree with you about daffodils Sue. They always make me feel better for seeing them and I've been delighting in the miniature ones I have in my garden at the moment. Likewise your lovely card would make anyone smile with delight!

You've created a very pretty Spring scene Sue, it's wonderful that you have Daffodils, blooming, it will be a while before we see them, we are still looking at snow and it was minus 15 this morning. However it will go above freezing again tomorrow. The sun shining so that is nice. Shirleyx
