Art Deco Flapper

Chocolate Baroque have just released a new set of stamps called Fabulous Flappers, I knew as soon as the email arrived on Thursday to announce their release that I had to have them. I ordered them straight away and by Saturday they were sitting on my doormat, I spent the afternoon cutting them out ready to use. With the awful weather on Sunday it was the ideal time to get them out and have a play. I stamped all five of these beautiful ladies onto tags and embossed with ebony black embossing powder, before colouring them in with promarkers. I then went around the outside of the tag and added some distress inks in matching colours. For this finished card I hem made a matching background using one of the smaller stamps and the same coloured ink as the tags. Then I mounted onto some brown card and finally an A5 cream card base. The sentiments both come from the Macintosh Sentiments and match these stamps perfectly.

Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue

I've managed to resist purchasing these stamps so far - but they could find their way to me unless I'm strong-minded. Love the tag.
