I was recently asked if I could make a card with fairies for the customers Granddaughter, so I've combined it with this months challenge over at the Lavinia challenge blog this month. First I made a mask for the hills and using a brush and Adirondack ink pads I made a background to stamp onto. I've used Luna and the fairy that came free in a magazine last month with versafine black onyx. I used the slender mushrooms at the bottom and also the bluebell stamp, I added some flat backed pearls to flowers. The birds used are from a set from Inkylicious. Finally I used the fern leaf to add foliage to the top and some glitter to the wings.
Thanks for taking the time to look, and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

What a lovely card for a granddaughter - so pretty. I missed that magazine somehow but probably just as well really!!

This is just so delightful Sue. I always look at every detail of your cards! Those fairies look wonderful with the hills in the background and the gorgeous hanging foliage. Inspired by you, I bought the magazine for the free stamps. Well, I have had a couple of attempts but not very good at all! Will keep trying. Michelle x
