50th Birthday Card

I can't believe how fast the last week has gone, we've been back from our Holiday for a week now and I'm only just finding time to post this card that I made at the beginning of the week. It's for hubby's cousin who turns 50 at the beginning of next week. I know I'm safe posting this as she does not visit my blog. I have several of the Julie Nutting doll stamps and decided it was about time I used them, so this is the first. The background was made using Dylusion sprays but I can't remember which ones, as they were made before we went away (I say they as I made quite a few background in different colours) I popped this onto an A5 black card base after adding a piece of black ribbon around the bottom. I stamped the doll and then coloured her using spectrum noir pencils then cut her out. I stuck her onto the card with glue gel. The flowers were some white ones that I had in my stash that I sprayed with Crafters Companion silver spray and sparkle. The large Happy Birthday die is from Tonic, the 50 Today from Rob Addams dies and the leaves are from Crealies.

Thanks for taking the time to look, and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue

Sue this is a stunning creation. Just love the kind of clean mixed media look and the pinks are so vibrant. Love your fussy cutting around her.

This is beautiful Sue. Your backgrounds are always stunning and the image is fabulous. Spraying the flowers with the spray and sparkle looks amazing. I misread your comment and understood the cousin was a he, so was wondering why you had made such a feminine card!!!! Michelle x
