Some time ago I made a card for the CD Sunday challenge which a friend had seen. The other day the friend asked if I could make a similar card for a 90th birthday, only she wanted it in brighter colours. So I found the stamp in the back of the cupboard (this is a Chocolate Baroque stamp but I'm not sure if it is a discontinued one) and hunted around for a brightly coloured background to use. Last time I had used an Artylicious CD for the papers, this time I found myself reaching for the Sheena Douglas Taste of India resource CD, and this lovely backing paper that is on there, I also used an A4 embossing folder from Sheena Douglas. I've stamped and embossed the stamp several times and then coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. I cut out parts of the stamped images and layered them using glue gel, finishing off by adding some flat backed pearls in matching colours. I then dusted off the Cricut and cut out the 90 Today. I just hope that the customer like the colours I chose.
Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.
Sue

Hi Sue, I'm finally getting chance for blog visits. Your card is beautiful and I am sure it will be well received. I have that CB set of mandala stamps. It's nice to see them in none-traditional shapes isn't it.
