I love the traditional colours of Christmas so went for these as the card base's, putting the green card base with the image that has the red border. And the red card base with the image that has the green border.
I've used gold card for the matting of the image and also the die cut embellishments, both of these are from Sue Wilson. I've also managed to keep everything flat, thinking about the postage cost helped with this.
The CD used is Joanna Sheen's Hollypondhill, there are lots of wonderful images on this for Christmas.
Thank you for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.
Sue.

Your cards are absolutely beautiful Sue. The images are lovely and work so well with the rich gold die cuts, and together with the background papers, they create the perfect layout. Crafty hugs, Sandra X

I am with you there Sue on traditional colours but on some occasions I am bowled over by an odd non-grad colour card.

This CD has some wonderful images...loved both of these on your Rudy Day post. The designs and colors are just perfect & I happen to love the traditional colors (others are fine as well, but my heart goes more to the traditional).
