Scene Card With Snippets

I had a lovely day on Saturday while hubby was out playing golf with the guys. This is one of the cards that I made. I have a box sat on my worktop that is overflowing with off cuts and scraps left over from other card projects, while rummaging through it I found I had enough white card to stamp this scene out. I have used a stamp set from Stampin Up called Moon Lake and I also used the mountains from another Stampin Up set called In The Meadow. I coloured it in using Spectrum Noir pencils and found some brown card in the box for the matting, I also had a pack of A6 cards in the cupboard, perfect to finish it off.

I would like to enter this into the challenge over at Pixie's Snippet's Playground.

Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

  1. Hi Sue! So glad you came to play with us in the Snippets Playground with this fabulous scenic card. Gorgeous colouring as well!!

i just added myself as a new follower - and remember that if you wish to be in the prize draw I do ask for you to say so in a comment on my blog post. The only reason is that a couple of times I had folk say they hadn't been playing for the prize after all which meant doing a redraw etc. etc. Come back again soon - loads of your friends are there on the swings :)

    Hugs

    Di xx

  2. what a lovely scene and great that you've used up some of your snippets - the piles never seem to diminish though - sigh! Not sure I recognise either of those SU sets, might need another look at the catalogue (dangerous though).

  3. Beautiful scene Sue, nice you could use left over scraps. I hope you are doing well, we are melting here and experiencing a bad drought, it's not pleasant. Take care xxx

  10. Hi Sue
Just havong a wee catch up on your blog! Love this pretty scene. It looks so very peaceful...and very much like the Okanagan area of British Columbia.

Next time you come to visit, we will take you up there. I have a 2 bedroom townhouse there we can stay at. We can send Al and Steve off golfing and we can go to the papercraft store!
