I didn't think that I would have time to make anything for Pixies Snippets Playground this week, but I finished the washing earlier than I expected (still have the ironing to tackle yet) so I had a quick rummage in the box and soon found a piece of black card and a piece of white linen card. I knew that I had this die handy so set about making this quick and easy card. I cut out the die with the black card and with the white I blended some distress inks in orange hues, trying to recapture the warmth of last week. I drew around the outside of the die and cut around the inside of the pencil line to fit the background behind the die, this was mounted onto a 6x6 card base. The stamp comes from Chocolate Baroque and the Die from Lavinia Stamps.
Below is a group photo of all but one of us on the family holiday, eight of us from the UK and twelve from Canada. This was Tulum Mexico.
Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

This is a beautiful card Sue. I love to see butterflies on a card and these silhouette butterflies stand out beautifully against the colourful background. Your family picture is fabulous and definitely one to treasure. It looks like you might need to get cracking with a scrapbook:) Have a lovely weekend, Sandra x
