More Playing With Scan-ncut

While my Scan-n-cut was out the other day (I have to put it away after using it as we look after my 20 month old grandson two days a week) I went through the designs and cut most of them out. Mostly in black as I was just enjoying playing and trying out the cutting files. I love the square shaped designs on the Lavinia USB, I can cut them so that they fit onto a 4x4 card or I can pop them onto a larger *x8 card like this one and decorate the edges. With this design I created a little scene behind the cut out using Lavinia stamps. After layering it up with the scene I added glitter with dries clear glue and iridescent glitter. Then matted with black a gold card stock. On the USB there is a lovely corner cut out that is just foliage, so I cut this out in a dark green and placed in the corner before adding some more leaves that were cut from a Tattered Lace die and flowers also from Tattered Lace, I coloured the flowers to match the colours within the scene. Finally I added the sentiment which I made on the PC. The card is for my sister who's birthday is in April (good job she doesn't look at my blog).
