Workshop Make

On Saturday I attended a workshop in Portsmouth which was held by Oyster Stamps and the wonderful Martine who works for them. She makes the most amazing cards using the Heartfelt Creations range (many of these were on display on Saturday). We spent the day 10.30 until about 3.30 making this wonderful book/box card. Now while I love the white on white cards it's not something that I attempt often as I normally end up putting a dirty finger print somewhere, so I was surprised when I finished it and it was still white. We used dies not only from Heartfelt's Flowering Dogwood collection, but also from Spellbinders, Cheery Lynn and Memory Box, also Distress Glitter, Diamond dust/twinklets and wow embossing powder. The flowers were made using parchment and were coloured from the back before shaping.  I had a wonderful day and will be trying more flowers on the parchment in the future too.
This week the challenge over on the Allsorts blog is Flower Power, I think that this will fit the bill perfectly.

 The card front.

 The inside.

The box.

Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Both your card and box are very beautiful Sue. Your flowers look lovely. I had a workshop with Martine last year and enjoyed making some of her parchment flowers. Barbxx

Looks as if this was a really good workshop - the flowers are so pretty and of course the various dies just make the whole project. Know what you mean about white on white - often a disaster here.
