Pixies Snippets Playground
I'm off to Pixies Snippets Playground with my card today. This was make as a "Just because" card for a crafty friend and my snippet was the wood effect background. I had made several in different colours earlier this year including two in this colour way which I had not used. So that was my starting place for the card, I then rummaged through my stencils and found these two, which are from Imagination Crafts, and then used some white pearlised embossing paste through the stencils. Straight away before it dried I sprinkled some purple glitter from my glitter mountain over the top and left to dry. Next I found my Lavinia stamp with the verse "Don't Let Life Dull Your Sparkle" stamped onto a scrap of white card and the cut the words apart edging with a little bit of black promarker I then stuck the onto the front. Next I mounted the topper onto some black card and then a piece of matching mirri card (it matches better in real life than in this photo). Finally I found a lovely poem about friend and printed this off onto an insert before giving to my friend. I'm glad to say the she loved it.

Popping in before I say 'goodnight' from down under...fabulous card Sue, I have sort of forgotten my Lavinia stamps [used the leaves the other day], but it just takes inspiration from a lovely blogging buddy. Great colours and love the sentiment, though haven't seen that one. Fabulous background.xx

Such a lovely card with the fairy against the wood background and the 'cut up' words are a really good idea.
It's so pretty Sue, always love Fairies and especially Lavinia ones and can just visualize how it sparkles in real life.
