Very often on a Friday I have a couple of friends who come for the day and we have a crafty play. Both are quite new to crafting so sometimes we end up doing something they have not tried before. This Friday we ended up decorating these expensive Mirrors from the Swedish shop, I'm going to make a couple of these for Christmas presents so now I've made this one I only have one more to go. I'm sorry that my hands have got in the way on the photo. I'm going to enter this into the Challenge over at Pixie's Snippets Playground this week (I've not been for a play for a few weeks now as I've been so busy) as the embossed pieces used on this are all from the scrap box, also most of the home made chip board pieces have been made with scraps too. As everything gets a coating of black gesso it really does not matter what colour the card is that you use. I'm also going to enter the More Mixed Media Challenge too, which is Anything Goes with an option to use orange.
Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.
Sue

Stunner Sue, brilliant use of snippets and really truly love it all, I’m loving the sheen on it and wondering how you coloured you it... over the Black gesso. Praying for UK hope you’re not in the area of storm...Shaz in Oz.x
Looks like it was a lovely crafty playtime Sue and loving all the texture and dimensional elements.

This is fabulous and a wonderful gift for someone. Have you tried popping a square of plain toning card into the mirror area when taking the photo??
A beautiful mirror Sue, lovely colours - a wonderful gift.

What a beautiful project and so fun that you had friends over to craft!
This looks super Sue. Miss Di and I made something similar on our craft away weekend last yr (didn't get them completely finished in the day Though. Di was asking me what did they tell us to glue to the backing with so you might get a question from her on that point. Hugs Mrs A.
Your mirror looks fantastic Sue. What a great project to do with your friends. I love all the texture and detail. Barbxx
Oh Sue, how fabulous! And YES, I really would love to know what you used to glue those jigsaw pieces to the board please. We (oh lord the mad Mrs A and I) went on to a Powertex class and I ended up with a centre piece which is a little matching panel, rather than the mirror. Any suggestions about gluing would be gratefully revived! PVA was suggested at the time. Help please!
Lovely to see you in the Playground as well.
