Graphic 45 Retreat

Firstly please let me say sorry for being away for so long, I wish I could say I had a nice holiday but I've been unwell and finally it took a course of Antibiotics to get well again. Last Thursday, at long last I felt like myself. I was so glad as I thought I was going to have to cancel my weekend away at Clare Charvil's (My Creative Spirit) Retreat in Kenilworth. The doors opened on Friday evening at 6.00 p.m and most of the retreater's were there ready to start on their chosen projects. There was a small amount of people who joined us on Saturday morning. Below is my finished project using the wonderful new papers Sun Kissed from Graphic 45, when I say finished I still need to go through and add glossy accents in some places. This I can do here at home where there is plenty of time and space to let it dry. I plan on giving this to my Daughter for her Birthday in October and putting photos of her as a child, when she spent so many Summer (and Winter) holidays with my In-Laws who lived in Cornwall, playing on the beach. Anyway enough rambling from me, hope you enjoy my photos.

Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue

Sorry to hear you've been unwell - there seem to have been some nasty 'bugs' around this winter. How fortunate that you were well enough to attend this retreat - love Graphic 45. This is a super project and I'm sure you daughter will treasure it.

It's a lovely book Sue with those gorgeous papers. Hope you keep getting better, those viruses really knock you for six, had one for two months.

Beautiful Album Sue, Graphic 45 has beautiful papers. I hope you continue to stay well, there has been a wicked cold/flu here that people have been catching and taking forever to get over. I also had it, but the chest cold went away quickly, but my sinuses took almost two months to clear up... arghhh... Take good care, Shirleyx

Sorry to hear you have been unwell - what a good thing you felt better enough to go to the retreat. This album is gorgeous - although there's always one snag with the gorgeous G45 albums I see - how can you bear to cover up any of that wonderful artwork with photos?
