Well it's Friday once again, so it's time for me to have a rummage in my cupboards and see what I have that's been sitting there unused for a while. Today I have found this wonderful stamp of a sundial that was part of a collection of stamps that I bought from Create and Craft the first time that Glenda Waterworth from Chocolate Baroque (formally Graphicus) appeared as a guest. I was so blown away with what she did with the stamps, I had to buy them. However the sundial has remained unused until today. I have also used some tapestry stamps that I bought a couple of years ago at a show and had not used.
I started by masking the bottom of the card off and stamping the sundial so that I did not have the bottom of the sundial in the picture. Then I added a bit of colour to the top of the card using Distress Ink pads, I've tried to give the impression of the the sun somewhere in the background as well. Then using the tapestry stamps and a Big and Juicy ink pad , and a couple of green colours from the Distress Ink pads range, I stamped at the bottom of the card to make it look as though you are looking over an over grown Clematis hedge. The sentiment is from the Lovely Sentiments stamp sheet, also from Chocolate Baroque. The backing paper is from the Artylicious Essence of Nature CD. I just added a little ribbon from my stash across the middle.
Why not have a look in your craft stash to see if you have anything that you either have not used or not used for a long time, make something, post it on your blog. Then pop along to Judith's blog, leave her a comment and she will come and visit you blog.
Thanks for looking, your kind comments are appreciated.

Can it really be Friday again already?? This card is really pretty and you've got the clematis hedge looking just right. Lovely colours.
Hi Sue. I have just spotted this when I came over to see your CD Sunday card. I love how you have used the tapestry stamps. Just perfect. I know from experience how easy it is to overuse them and then everything becomes just a splodge but this is beautiful.
