Earlier this week when I made my card for the CD Sunday challenge, I told you I had used a topper left over from a sheet of toppers. Well here is what I had been making, it's a 40th Birthday card which is going to Manchester this weekend.
I used Joanna Sheen's Enchanted CD for this card, placing the backing paper straight onto the card blank. This was made using a sheet of centura gold pearl card and a sheet of white, the white being cut down to a square and the gold wrapped around, making a nice sized square card. The topper was mounted onto gold mirri card and I added some corners made with a Marianne die. The flowers were some cream ones that I bought a while ago, and I then coloured them to match using some pearlidoddles that I had in the cupboard, it gives the flowers a nice pearly sheen that the camera does not pick up very well. The flower centres were smaller flowers in cream, with a flattened bead end cap and a gem. The ribbon was from a box that I bought from Create and Craft last year. Lastly the sentiment was made on the PC and mounted onto gold mirri card.
Thank you for looking, your kind comments are appreciated.
