CD Sunday - A La Mode

What horrible weather this weekend, freezing cold Saturday, snow Sunday and fog today. I'm glad to say that most of the snow has now disappeared from our area, hopefully the fog will go soon too, on the up side it was perfect for crafting. The challenge this week over at the CD Sunday blog is A LA Mode, there are some amazing samples on the blog made by the design team using the Ooh La La Shoes in Bloom 2 CD. I've decided to combine this weeks challenge with a 40th birthday card that I was asked to make. I have used Debbi Moore's Glitter and Glitz New York CD for this. I made a large card base with centura pearl card in a colour matching the toppers and matted the backing paper onto some gold mirri card. The toppers were printed onto 200gms matt photo card and cut out around the frames, I then added some Crystal glamour dust to the dress. The flowers were some that I had in my stash and the swirls are from a Marianne die, finally the sentiment was made using MCS

Thank you for taking the time to look.
