Challenge number 2 on the Show Us Your Twinchies blog is Summer. I had several ideas for this, but in the end I reached for the Faye Whittaker stamps from Joanna Sheen, and the gorgeous range of seaside stamps. Each stamp set has some small stamps, these include the sandcastle, bucket and spade and yacht, all from different sets, and ideal for this challenge.
After stamping onto the twinchie, I used distress ink pads to add some background colour. Using scattered straw for the sand and salty ocean for the sea and sky. Next I coloured the images with promarkers, then ran the twinchie along the salty ocean distress pad. Rather than just leave it, like I did last time, this time I've finished off by mounting first onto a piece of matching card then onto an A6 card base. All the bits I've used for this came out of my scraps box, including the white card I stamped onto.
Thank you for taking the time to look. Your kind comments are always appreciated.

Hi Sue ! Wow gorgeous & creative Twinchie ! I love the 'scene' that you created in the small space. Your card really sets it as well. I'm loving these Twinchies, there is something about the challenge of the small space and what you can do with it. Have a great week ! Shirleyx
