Winter Wonderland

I joined the online group Chocolate Baroque, when it launched sometime ago, and then sat in the background occasionally popping in to see what everyone was making. Then last year I followed with interest the tag swap that was set up, and there were some wonderful tags created. This year I decided that I needed to join in more, so I've taken the plunge and joined the Quintile Swap. This is my first Quintile for January, which is on the theme of Winter Wonderland. I've taken a background that I'd made previously using Distress Ink pads and water on a glass cutting mat, and by placing the card stock onto this and picking up the colour. Then I over sprayed with some glimmer mist, I can't remember what colours I used, but it was the right sort of colour for the challenge. Next I stamped the images that I wanted to use onto the background, these were from Terrific Treescapes, Christmas Creatures, I can't remember the name of the set that the robin came from, and the small deer is from an Indio Blu set. I them added some Sapphire Blue distress ink over the top part of the picture and a little white Brilliance ink to the bottom. The colour added was with promarkers, the snow to the trees was a white sakura pen, and finally I added a couple of gems to the tree ornaments.

Thank you for taking the time to look, and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue
