I love new handbags, but on a day to day basis tend to keep to my old over the shoulder bag, which on busy shopping days I can just pop all the way over to stop it falling off. I was asked the other day if I could make a card for a lady who is going to be 60 next month, but is young for her age and loved handbags. This is what I've come up with. The main part of the bag, corners and plate on the front were all cut out after using the Glitter Girls embossing board for the shape, black card for the base and this lovey textured pattern card to decorate. I then added some border peel offs to the edges, after sticking the decorative bits down. The flowers were cut out using a crealie die, and I've added a small silver bead cap and a flat back pearl to the centres. The 60, Joy and Radley were all cut out using the Cricut. I attached Radley with some jewelry chain that I have in my box, and some flat back gems for his eyes and collar.
Thank you for taking the time to look, and your kind comments which are always appreciated.
