Spring

This month the challenge on the Show Us Your Twinchies blog is Spring. What could be more spring like that seeing sheep with their lambs in the fields. It was while I was clearing up after the card in my last blog post, that I realised that the Hobby Art stamps sitting on the side were idea for making a small scene, and would fit on a 2x2 inch (5x5 cm) square piece of card.

I stamped with Memento tuxedo black and coloured with Aqua markers (only as these were already out). I've used 3-4 colours on the mountains in the distance. Those of you how know me, will also know that I like to finish my twinchies on a card. I always think if I've taken the trouble to make the twinchie in the first place, it deserves to be finished properly. This one has been finished with some textured gold card and some olive green card, on an A6 card base, which came out of my bits box. The stamp is from a sheet of sentiment stamps from Flower soft.

Thanks for taking the time to look, and you kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue

Hi Sue
That is one fantastic Twinchie. I haven't joined in their challenges for a little while but would never have thought of creating a scene. artistically speaking that is. :)
