The Real Meaning Of Christmas

I've made this card for this fortnight's challenge over on the CD Sunday blog, which is Christmas Is Coming.  I had to have this wonderful CD when Debbi Moore bought it out, the images on it gorgeous and depict the true meaning of Christmas. It brought back memories from my childhood when my Mum would take me to Church on Christmas Eve (or the Sunday before Christmas) to see the baby Jesus being placed into the manger. I'm not a particularly religious person, but I still like to go to the Midnight service at the local church, it somehow makes it feel like Christmas. Anyway onto my card, it's an 8x8 card base as the topper was a large one, it fact it filled the card, there was just enough space for a bit of blue matting card. I then added the sentiment and Away in the manager verse. There are no embellishments added as I felt they looked too much.

Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue
