Pixies Snippets Playground

Sunday again and time for another trip to Pixie's Snippets Playground. I spent the day at Ally Pally yesterday and when I got home I found that the latest Tattered Lace magazine had landed on my door mat, with a beautiful die on the front of it. It was calling out to be cut out so after a rummage through the scraps box this is the card that I made. I used a little distress ink on the image to give it some colour and added some gems to two of the corners to finish. I'm loving this challenge as it helps me use up some of my ever growing stash of scraps, but I think maybe I put more into the box during the week than I use at the weekend making a card to join in. Normally at this point I would preview this post before publishing, but for some reason Norton has decided that the preview page is dangerous. So I'm just going to take a chance that this is fine.

Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue

Your post is fine, Sue and that die cut is gorgeous! I love that soft coloring! It seems that the more I pull out of the scraps the more I put in. At one point I had so much built up that I filled several gallon size bags with snippets and took to the preschool. The kids loved cutting those scraps up!

Really pretty card Sue - that die is so lovely and the soft look you achieved is perfect!

Ah, I am so with you about snippets increasing rather than going down! The thing is, I know that if I have a bit of a 'cull' then I'll need that very snippet I dumped within a couple of weeks time! Sigh. But so glad you enjoy the Playground :)

Ah, lovely indeed Sue, I agree re snippets multiplying they're quite dangerous like that. And yes, blogger has been nasty of late ate a whole post of mine last week. Didn't have time to redo it, maybe this week.
Thanks for popping over,

Sorry I missed this one - for some reason blogs with new posts don't always make it to the top of my blog list (strange and annoying). This is a beautiful die and a pretty card. The snippets pile doesn't get smaller here either despite my best efforts!
