This week the theme over at the CD Sunday Challenge Blog is Art Nouveau. Once again I have used MCS, this time the Opulent. It has wonderful Art Nouveau images and backgrounds on.
I have used silver mirriboard to mount the backing paper and the image onto, then cut some corners for a Marianne die cut, added some lemon ribbon and some flowers that I had in my stash.
Thanks for looking

Pretty In Pink and Forgotten Friday 6
Well it Friday again, it's come around quickly this week. I'm a bit behind as I have been making samples for a Pick of the Day on Ideal World this coming Tuesday. So I have turned to a Joanna Sheen CD 'Precious Petals', for this week Forgotten Friday. I bought this when it was first released and this is the first time that I have used it.
I made this card in pink colours, and have not added a sentiment. I can then put it in my box of made cards and it is almost ready to be sent to someone.
Thank you for looking,
Sue

CD Sunday Challenge, Get A Head - Get A Hat
This weeks challenge over at CD Sunday is Get a head - Get a hat. Once again I've used MCS (I do have other CDs,really!!).
For this card I have used MCS Fab Glam Fifties. There is a whole section just with hats in.
I have also chosen to use a colour that I don't use very often, browns and beige's. The base easel card is cream, then I've used gold mirricard for matting and layering, along with some gold ribbon and some flowers from my stash.
Thank you for looking

Funky Fashion and Forgotten Friday 5
Another Friday and another rummage through the cupboard for forgotten stamps, accessories and stuff. This week I've made 3 cards with these Funky Fashion stamps from Elusive Images that I bought when they were first released. They have been used before but not for a long time.
The acrylic tags were in a stash box that I bought from Graphicus some time ago, also the ribbon slider. The flowers that are on the dress card were a very pale pink and did look right so I coloured them the same colour as the flowers on the dress with a Promarker.

All of the backing papers are by Bearly Mine designs. The beaded string across the bottom card I made using some thread that I have on a small cone which I have in the past used with my knitting machine, the beads from my stash. The backing paper I used on the bottom card reminded me of the Indian fabric that you can get with the little mirrors embroidered onto it, so I used a quickie glue pen and added some glitter to the middle of the circles.

Swirls and Pearls
This weeks challenge over at CD Sunday is Swirls and Pearls. I have used MCS, No Stamp Required, Floral to make this card. The picture has not come out that well, as the weather is so dull and wet here today.
I made a plain coloured background for this, which is so easy to do using the colour pick feature in MCS added the swirl and changed the colour to match. I added the text, then added a couple of butterflies, I printed 4 extra and then decoupaged them. I've added the pearls in 2 sizes. I mounted the image onto white centura pearl card. For the base card I changed the background colour slightly and printed this onto centura card then just folded in half and added a little ribbon.

Faerie Poppet
After joining Judith and Forgotten Friday last week, I thought I would have to look a little further into my cupboard that has my stamps in to see what I could find for this week. I didn't get very far before I found a box with some wood mounted stamps. I don't have that many of them as I prefer to have the unmounted type. In the box I found 4 Faerie Poppets and I can't remember when I bought them. This is the one that I have decided to use, I'm sure I will be using the others in the future.
After Stamping the image and colouring it with promarkers, I stamped the image 2 times more with the first I cut out the wings so that when I masked the coloured one, I could spray through with Crafters Companion Iridescent glitter spray. Then with the other I cut around the whole image and with a duster brush added the yellow from a big and juicy ink pad. The backing paper is from MCS Another Walk In Wonderland. Ribbon and flowers from my stash. I'm off to have another rummage to see what I can use next week.
Thank you for looking.

Friendship
I have made this card to enter the CD Sunday Challenge, this weeks theme is Friendship.
I have used My Craft Studio Papercraft Library Vol 1, Vol 3 and Vol 5 And More Than Words vol 3.
Volume 1, I used the colour picker to match a plain background with the shape, and then over layed the words background, which are all to do with friends and lowered the opacity on them so they were not as bold.
Volume 3, I used the Violet image already coloured and also the shapes. I picked the shape with the white middle and placed the image inside then I picked the solid shape and with the brightness slider changed the colour to white, enlarged it slightly and place behind the first. This gave the appearance that it had been matted onto white card.
Volume 5, I have only used the background sheet from this CD.
More Than Word is a Cd that is full of wonderful words that go with so many different occasions and I thought that these words I used could have been said just for this card.
I have finished off by adding some flowers and ribbon that I have in my stash.
I very often make cards using several of the MCS CDs as they all seem to go together so well.
Thank you for taking the time to look.

Sarah Kay and Forgotten Friday
Last year at the Make It Show at Farnbourgh I bought this Sarah Kay stamp. When I got home I packed everything away (so DH could not see all that I had bought) and forgot all about this stamp. Whilst rummaging through my stamps the other day I found it and decided that it was time to use it. Then I noticed that Judith at Poppy Cottage is asking people to join her, by making something using forgotten Stamps or Stash. So I thought I would post the card here and join in. There is a link to Judith's blog at the side. Sorry I've not managed to find out how link yet.
I used the Sarah Kay stamp and coloured it with Promarkers, the backing paper is a freebie from Bearly Mine (again the link is at the side). I cut it out with an oval nestie, and also the mount, The border was cut using a Marianne die, and threaded with ribbon from my stash,

sentiment is from a Sheena Douglass sketchy stamp. Last of all is the flower which was from Fred Said.
