Time again for another Forgotten Friday post, and this week it's a Christmas card. I've chosen to use another of the SWALK Christmas stamps that were unused, and the sentiment is definitely true today, after another dose of snow last night my hands are very cold today. Earlier the sun was out and the snow was melting but the sun has now disappeared.
For this card I've used a 6x6 card base, I stamped the image with Memento ink and coloured with promarkers. Then I added some colour around the edge of the image using the big-n-juicy Hydrangea ink pad, picking up some of the purple colour and a little of the blue that was next to it on a stipple brush, and then just pouncing the brush. The backing papers were from the SWALK Christmas CD, but I did change the colours in the colouriser to match the image, these I mounted onto some silver card. I just finished it with a little bit of ribbon from my stash and some snowflakes that have been in a pot since last year.
This is great fun challenge to take part in, all you need to do is use something forgotten or neglected, post it on your blog and leave a comment for Judith. Why not get a head start on your Christmas cards this year, like I am.
Thanks for taking the time to look.

That's a great sentiment Sue, and a really cute image. Love the colours too. Good to see that you are keeping up with your Christmas cards too! Thanks for joining in Forgotten Friday this week, Judith xx
Hi Sue ... The image is too cute and your card is beautiful ! Love all the layering .. have a great day !
I hope your snow has melted away not - best place for it is in photographs!! We've been lucky and missed it so far but very chilly. Lovely Christmas card and it must have felt right making it with snow around - I have some of the SWALK stamps unused (not Christmas ones) so might fish them out for another week!!
