CD Sunday - From Me To You

The Challenge this week on the CD Sunday blog is From Me To You, so with Mother's day next Sunday I decided this was just the right sort of card to make for this. If like me you have a Mother and a Mother-in-law you have to make 2 cards, and I've made mine the same just in different colours.  As I was unable to decide which one to show, I've put both of them on here. The CD used is One Fine Lady from Debbi Moore. My Mother likes pale lighter colours so the bottom card is for her, in the picture it looks like a pale blue, but is pale lilac, and my Mother-in-law likes browns and beige's, so the gold/orange one is for her. They were both made the same way, the main image is decoupaged and put together with silicone. The backing papers are matted onto gold mirri card, and corners cut with a spellbinders die (Parisian Accents). I added a ribbon across the middle of the card, and the flowers from my stash were cream, the orange ones were coloured with Glimmer mists and the lilac first with a lilac promarker and then an iredecent gold glimmer mist. The leaves were cut with a Marianne die. The sentiment was computer generated, printed on the laser printer and foiled.
