This weeks theme over on the CD Sunday blog is Autumn Splendor, and there are certainly some beautiful colours on the trees at present, with more turning daily. For my card this week I have used Linda Ravenscroft's A Touch Of Magic. I started with an 8x8 card base, and printed off the backing paper, I did reduce the opacity on the backing paper, then mounted onto some gold mirri card. I then place some brown organza ribbon around the middle of the card. Next I printed the topper which is decoupaged and again mounted onto some gold mirri card, I also added one of the verse toppers to the bottom corner. I finished by adding a bow of the same ribbon and adding some flowers from my stash, along with some fancy centres and pearls.
Unfortunately since making this card a favourite Uncle and Godfather has sadly passed away and I will not be able to continue as Guest Designer with CD Sunday at this time. At the moment I am travelling to London and back almost daily along with my Sister, we are both executors of his estate and have quite a lot of sorting to do.
Thank you for taking the time to visit, and you kind comments which are always appreciated.

Beautiful image and such lovely autumn colours - love it. So sorry to hear about your loss - take care
It's gorgeous Sue. I love the way you've faded the bp for a softer effect, the image is lovely - and how could you bear to part with those fab flowers. I hope this week goes OK for you and look forward to when you can join us for a whole month.

A beautiful card Sue especially with that lovely splash of golden orange colour. As Beryl said how could you part with the flowers. They surely come under 'stash to look at'
I hope things get easier for you. Been there recently so I know how difficult it is. I hope you will be back with us soon.
