I've really enjoyed getting back into the swing of crafting again this week, and have been catching up on making Christmas cards, this one is one of a batch I'm in the middle of making for my Mother-in-law, and is to give to Father-in-law (he's virtually blind which is why the sentiment is on the large size). It fits right in with this weeks challenge over on the CD Sunday blog, which is Inspired By Nature. I started this card with an 8x8 card base and backing paper from Crafters Companion The Snowman. This is mounted onto some blue mirri card, next the image, which again is mounted onto the blue mirri card, is from The Best Of La Pashe 2012 and has been decoupaged. The sentiment was created on the PC, and flowers die cut with the small poinsettia by Marianne, and the leaves were cut using a crealies die.
Thank you for taking the time to look, and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Fab card Sue, boy that water looks cold ! thanks for sharing at CD Sunday, Wendy x
A lovely card - I really like that you chose the blue background - not the obvious choice to go with the robins- it really makes their red breasts stand out.
A beautiful card, looks as though this is a good CD to have. Thanks for sharing with us at CD Sunday Challenges. Caz
