Dancing At Dawn
Before I start this post I just wanted to say a big thank you to Tracey. I was lucky enough to have my card picked by random at the end of last months Lavinia Challenge, so won £40 to spend at the Lavinia Shop. I had great fun looking at the website and choosing some new stamps to add to my growing stash. Now onto today's card which is my entry into this month's challenge, and the theme is "Pastel Colours". These are colours that I don't use very much, I am normally drawn to deeper shades, however I am pleased with the result that I got on this one. I used Pan Pastels to create a background, blending the shades together down the page. I then stamped the verse into the top left hand corner and the Dance Till Dawn stamp at the bottom in Memento Tuxedo Black. Then I got out the Adirondack lighter colour ink pads and stamped the foliage around the edges. To finish I just added some glitter to the wings and the tiny buds on the vine leaves.

first of all Sue - well done on being picked - random or not - I'm sure your card was wonderful - secondly - this is fabulous - I was loving this particular stamp when I was at the Happy stampers show - its so gorgeous - next show it shall be mine (laughs manically!!). Brilliant xx
