Kelmscott Bauble

On my recent wanderings around blogland I have found a couple of blogs where people are joining in the challenge over at the For Your Inspiration blog. This is the photo they have posted this week for inspiration.

It did not take me long to find just the right stamp to use for this, it's the Kelmscott Bauble, which is from a set of stamps by Chocolate Baroque originally for Christmas, but the designs are suitable for anytime of year. Unfortunately these stamps were retired last month. I stamped the image with Memento black ink and coloured the flower with promarkers. Then I made a mask of the flower and blended some Spiced Marmalade distress ink around the edge. The die cut is from Spellbinders, Floral Accents, the backing paper from a Hot Off The Press pad that I've have for several years, this was mounted onto some purple card the same as for the die cut. I've added some ribbons in both orange and purple and just added some card candi to the corners. Unfortunately the colours have changed slightly with the photo.

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Hi Sue ! I love your gorgeous card ! The colors are beautiful and compliment the inspiration photo perfectly. The two ribbons tied together is such a great finish. I managed to purchase the Beardsley Bauble set two days before they retired. I agree these sets are awesome for any occasion. The Kelmscott set is also beautiful, it was hard to choose only one :) Have a great week, Shirley x
