Pan Pastel Challenge 38 - All About The Sentiment

This week the challenge on the Pan Pastel blog is All About The Sentiment, it was a good excuse for me to use my favourite sentiment from Chocolate Baroque, from the Loving Sentiments stamp sheet. This sentiment is useful for many occasions and I've used it many times. For this card I started with a plain white oval of card, and the coloured it with Dairylide Yellow and Orange pan pastels. The frame was cut out using Elegant Edges cricut cartridge and coloured with the same two colours as the oval, but then I went around the inside of the cut edge and the outside with Burnt Sienna. I went over the petals of the flowers with the yellow and orange pan pastels and added brads to the middles these were coloured to match using an orange pro marker, the leaves are from a Crealies die. The backing paper is from the Butterfly Bliss CD by Artylicious, also available from Chocolate Baroque. Finally before putting the card together I went around the outside edges of the card base with the Orange pan pastel.

Thank you for taking the time to look, and you kind comments which are always appreciated.

Beautiful & vibrant card Sue ! The sentiment is very special. I actually made a card that I was going to enter into this challenge and then decided I didn't want to post it. Still playing with Pan Pastels and learning. Hope your day is going well, Shirleyx
