This weeks challenge over on the CD Sunday blog is Fine Plumage, and was chosen by Jocelyn. Also this is our second week with Wynn as Guest Designer, I'm sure you'll agree she's doing a great job. I've chosen to used Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew Vol 2 for this card, and the wonderful Kestrel, which has been decoupaged. I've made this card for the In-laws to give to their Son-in-law who's birthday is later in the month (good job he does not look at this blog). The backing paper with the small kestrels on has come from the CD, but the bottom one was one I made myself using MCS, I also cropped the head of the kestrel to put onto the sentiment.I've used an 8x8 brown card base, and some rust coloured card for matting.
Thanks for taking the time to look, and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

I like this Sue, great job you've done on the backing paper too. I'm sure the son-in-law will be happy to get it and your in-laws happy to send it.

This is lovely Sue and I really love the idea of adding part of the main image to the greeting.

What a gorgeous proud Kestrel. Love the way you have put his head on the sentiment. Fabulous card Sue. Thank you so much for pointing out that my card was not on the CD Sunday blog. I don't know what happened because I put it up yesterday. I notice my comment is there though. I have just put it back. Michelle x
A great card and I love all the layers that pick out perfectly the colouring of the plumage.
