June Quintiles - Weddings

It's time again for the Quintile swap on the Chocolate Baroque community site, and this month they are asking that we make our quintiles in the theme of Weddings. I delved into the cupboard and pulled out one of my boxes of stamps and had a rummage to see what I could find. Two sets that have not had an outing for a while were Heartfelt and Lovesong, these are the two tiles I made using these stamps. First I cut my card to size and stamped using versamark and the word stamp love that has the swirls on the end (using only the swirls), then embossed with clear embossing powder. Next I brushed over the top using Tumbled Glass DI on the first tile and Spun Sugar DI on the second.

I then stamped and embossed in WOW platinum embossing powder the hearts and two different sentiments. I cut these out to add them to the background, after brushing the sentiments with the same brushes I had used and placed on using glue gel. The flowers were made using a crealie die and I finished the centres with gems. Finally I mounted the tiles onto some silver mirri card to finish.

Thanks for taking the time to look, and your kind comment which are always appreciated.

These are great and the flowers look really intricate - they certainly fit the theme well. I have to delve into my stamps too - definitely no brides amongst them!!

These are lovely Sue. I had not heard of quintiles before and was trying to work out what the tiles were and then I realised the whole card is a tile! They are so pretty and the flowers are gorgeous. Michelle x
