July Wedding

Well I can't believe that I'm back for the third day in a row. Hubby played golf all day yesterday so I ignored the housework and got down to some crafting. Last October we attended a wedding in Cornwall when Hubby's cousin got married. At the beginning of July it's the turn of her Daughter, this card is one of three that I have to make for the big day. I shall be sending this down with FIL as we won't be going to this one. My daughters baby is due in two weeks time and we felt we needed to stay closer to home at this time. Anyway onto the card, it an 8x8 white card blank and sliver mirri card for the matting. The image is from Lily of the Valley coloured with spectrum noir pencils. The background paper is from Joanna Sheen's Holly Pond Hill CD and the die cuts from Marianne, Crealies and All Occasions. I will be entering this into the challenge over at Stamping Sensations who this month are asking for cards using dies and punches.

Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue

What a sweet little image that is. Love how you have coloured it in pencils, so soft and pretty. Your flowers finish it off beautifully. Michelle x

How exciting you're awaiting the arrival of a new family member! I shall look forward to seeing some photos soon.

This is a beautiful card which I'm sure the bride and groom with treasure and I love the touch of colour from the flowers and leaves. Beautiful use of the various dies. I'm not very good at using multiple dies on a card but you co-ordinate them beautifully.

Hugs
Lesley Xx
