Butterfly Challenge 95

I made this card for the Butterfly Challenge which currently is P, giving the choice of three things beginning with P. I went with Patterned Paper, Pink and Pearls. The pattered paper comes from a pad that I bought many years ago, but being someone who just strokes their papers rather than use them, the pad is nearly unused. I decided that it was time to stop stock piling the papers and get on and use them. The die was from Crafters Companion, the sentiment from Chocolate Baroque, pearls from my stash and last of all the Butterflies were from a Tim Holtz set from Stampers Anonymous. I also used pink distress inks around the edges of the paper, die cut and to colour the butterflies.

Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

21st Birthday Card

I have a 21st Birthday card to share with you today. It's an 8x8 card made using Heartfelt Creation Classic Petunia Collection. First I stamped the flowers and embossed them with silver embossing powder, then cut them out using the dies. I then picked the background papers from the paper pad and teamed them with silver mirri card. The corners are silver metal bought from ebay. I also used a leafy flourish and doily dies from Heartfelt Creations. I finished the card by adding Congratulations which was a Tattered Lace die and the 21 which was cut by the Cricut.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Allsorts Challenge - Handmade Flowers
Stamping Sensations - Anything With Flowers
Artistic Inspirations - Anything Goes/with the option of Flowers
A Bit More Time To Craft - Anything Goes

Thanks for taking to time to visit and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Checks, Cornflower, Corners and Butterflies

I've just realised how long it's been since I last blogged, I'm afraid I have no excuses. My card today has been made with the Butterfly Challenge in mind, which at the moment is the letter C. There is a new format to the challenge called spin the wheel and you have to have three things on there relating to the letter it lands on (do go and check it out). I decided on Checks, Cornflower (the colour) and corners. I'm also going to enter this card into Pixies Snippets Playground, which requires that you use up some of your scraps. Most of this card has been made using scraps so should fit in perfectly.

Thanks for taking the time to visit and your kind comments which are always appreciated.
