I spent last Saturday with some friends celebrating a 60th birthday with one of them. As a Crafter this person decided that she wanted a crafty party for this big birthday so invited four friends to help her celebrate. We arrived and after a cup of coffee we started on this project, following an online course by Andy Skinner and using Deco Art products to decorate a paper mache book box. We had a great day with sandwiches and birthday cake at lunch time and then after continuing with the crafting in the afternoon. Later we went for a Thai meal in the evening to finish the day. I bought my project home and finished it with some embellishments that I had in my stash.
I'm entering this into the challenge over at the
More Mixed Media Challenge blog, which at the moment is Anything Goes with the option of Blues. There's plenty of blue on my box so fits perfectly.
