July Rudolph Days

Wow I can't believe that it's time for the Rudolph Days Challenge again. The time is certainly rushing by even though we've been in lockdown. I'm a little late joining in this month, but with the rules on social distancing relaxing a little, this weekend I had a couple of my Crafting friends around for a bit of a catch up and craft. We sat a distance around a large table. It was so good to see them again after so long. Anyway onto my cards. I found some backgrounds sitting on my worktop the other day and used these to make my cards this month. Two were blended inks, Prisma by Hunkydory and the other three were Spectrum Noir sparkle pens that were blended on the paper with a wet brush. I over stamp onto these using  this gorgeous stag by Studio Light. As there is a verse of "Chestnuts Roasting" running through the middle of the stag I decided not to add a sentiment at this stage, who knows I might at a later date. As normal Maureen has a fantastic prize for the person who is picked at random at the end of the month, I do hope that you can join in the fun.

Hope you are all keeping well.

Thank you for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always apprciated.

Sue xx

All gorgeous cards Sue and I have to say that you make the most beautiful backgrounds. I'm pleased that you were able to catch up with your friends. It really has been such a strange year with one thing and another hasn't it. Take care and I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful cards xx

Hi there, Sue.

Your stag cards look wonderful. I have not cracked my stag open yet but will now, for sure.
The backgrounds are amazing...as always. My fave is the first one...love that sky!

Glad to hear that you were able to meet up with some friends to craft. So far, we are meeting the kids and grandkids and Al's sister and her husband in our back garden. We hope to expand that to a couple that we used to go out for supper with each month. Bubbles here have expanded to up to 10 but meet with 5 or under at a time, socially distanced still for us...

Had a lovely day out on the boat the other day and saw the kids camping at a private gated beach. There is room for 8 trailers and 7 tents but They shared the cost with only 4 other couples in trailers. They always camp together and there are only two other kids in the group...luckily Clare's age. We stayed for a couple of hours and even the kids were socially distancing. They used a long pole to mark off 6 feet when they tied the various rafts, etc together. Then they swam out one by one and floated clwe to shore in a tied up group! So cute!!!

Take care, Sue and Thanks for taking part in the July Rudolph Days Challenge.

Oh dear totally missed making a card in time. Days and weeks are just merging into one long length of time. Just about remembering which day is which for putting the bins out. These are all super backgrounds for that lovely reindeer stamp. Hugs Mrs A.

Hi Sue, a stunning set of cards, love the multi coloured backgrounds you created, reminds me of the Northern Lights we hear so much about, Glad to hear things are settling down where you are, we are still choosing to stay close to home and avoid more densely populated areas, while there are outbreaks occurring.. Have a wonderful weekend.. Megan
