October Rudolph Days

Wow I can't believe that we are almost at the end of October, but as it's the 25th it's time for this month's Rudolph Days Challenge. I'm so glad for this challenge as I now have quite a stash of cards ready for Christmas. This month I've used a beautiful stencil made by Sweet Poppy Stencils here in the UK and a small stamp from Inkylicious also here in the UK. I'm not going to bore you with how I inked it as there is a fantastic video on YouTube that will show you how made by the fabulous Eileen Godwin, just click on her name and it will take you there. I used various shades of blue distress inks for my blending and then I stamped using Memento London Fog. I do hope that you can come and join in the fun this month. As usual Maureen has the choice of two fantastic prizes on offer to be picked by the winner who will be chosen at random at the end of the month.

Hope this finds everyone keeping safe and well.

Thank you for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Sue

Beautiful cards Sue. It’s such a good feeling when you’re ahead with your Christmas cards. I definitely have that lovely bauble stencil on my crafty wish list X

Excellent work with that super stencil and the scene is just right inside. Great that it stamped in grey rather than black to give softer feel to the snowy scene. Batch making too - well done.

I love these cards. Personally I find stencils quite hard to get a good result from, but yours are amazing. The blue is so vibrant and perfect contrast for the grey image.
Sweet Poppy stamps items are quite hard to get hold of out here in Spain, because so many are sold through the TV channel which I don't get to see. I am currently looking for the blending brushes, but I expect I'll find them eventually. I am hoping they will give me results more like yours!

These are stunning cards, Sue. That stencil is amazing! The London Fog gives such a soft look to your scene and now I see that the mirri card was probably silver not gold as I first thought!

Love these beautiful cards...hope one winds its way over to Canada come the Christmas season...

So glad to have you on my design team. You ladies are all a blessing.

Really love the way you used that pretty bauble stencil as a frame for your snowy scene Sue. I've been looking for a little scene like that and hadn't thought to look over at Inkylicious so thanks for the nudge :)
