Just before lockdown started I had a Crafty Friend who moved to Australia. After living with her Daughter during the lockdown downunder she has recently moved into a new home there. I made this card and sent. I know it's been received now so I'm safe to post it here. I used a stamp from Chocolate Baroque designed by Kim Moody and Called Poppy Cottage. I stamped onto water colour card and used my new water colour pens from Phil Martin.
Hoping this finds everyone well and keeping safe.

Album Workshop Number 3
I'm just popping in today to show you the results of the last Facebook live workshop with Clare Charvill (My Creative Spirit) just over a week ago. I enjoyed making this so much I made a second straight away. You might find this post a little photo heavy.
My first make used papers from Crafters Companion's Downton Abbey which was bought out a few years ago now. I decided that it was time to use these gorgeous papers.
As well as making the box with a sunken top for showing thing off in we made two brag books to go inside.
One was landscape and one protrait, both held together with ribbons.
As you can see for the photos I've left the pages very bare in this version, just right for placing photos onto them.
As these books were concertina style I used the same papers on both sides.
For my second make I used Graphic 45's Midnight Masquarade collection. I've had this in my stash for sometime but until had not used it.
The sunken top with a tiny pair of binoculars in along with a framed picture.
The brag books inside the box.
Unlike the last box and books I decorated the inside pages of these two with bands and small pockets.
I love the gorgeous papers in this collection, the colours are so vibrant.
I'm now getting ready the workshop 4 which is this coming Friday and Saturday evening between 6 - 8 pm where we will be making a beautiful Polly Pocket Album. If any of you are interested here is the link to the project and instructions of what you will have to do, If you can't make the times it will be live you can still do the project as the video stays on the Facebook group page so you can access anytime you wish to.
Hope that you are all staying safe and keeping well.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Summer Sunshine
This week the challenge over on the Allsorts Blog Is Summer Sunshine and the DT would like to see cards that have used lots of Yellow. However at this stage I'm wondering where the Summer Sunshine has gone, I'm back in a jumper today. For my card I've used Distress inks in yellows for my background and Lavinia Stamps for my scene.
I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe

Make It Colourful At Stamping Sensations
In April I was very lucky to win the challenge at Stamping Sensations. As a winner I was asked to be Guest Designer on this months challenge which is Make it colourful. Visible Image are the Sponsers for this months challenge. I'm sure that the hot weather that we have been having recently has had many of your reaching for those bright colours, so why not pop over to the blog and join in with the challenge this month, the Design Team have always got beautiful cards for your inspiration, the only stipulation is that your card must have used a stamp or stamps as the main focus. For my card I've used my favourite Lavinia stamps to create this scene, the flowers were made using some Stampin Up punches that happened to be sat on my desk the day I made this.
Hope you are all keeping well and staying safe.

Teeny Tiny Tag Album
Nearly two weeks ago saw me sitting down on Friday and Saturday evening for 2 hours each evening and crafting along with lots of other like minded crafters. We made these Teeny Tiny Tag Albums on a FaceBook live hosted by Clare Charvill (My Creative Spirit). Clare makes a dedicated Facebook page especially for the class, all you have to do is log on and follow, even if you can't make it on the evenings in question you still have access to the class and videos. It's lovely afterwards seeing the finished results, as we all seem to be using different paper collections, from Graphic 45, Stamperia and even digital kits too. For my album I used Graphic 45 Artisan Collection, it's quite an old collection now, but I had some left over from another project that I done a couple of years ago now. Clare is running her third FaceBook live class this Friday and Saturday 6-8 both evenings. If you are interested here is a link to the workshop. Would love to see you there.
Above, the front of the album
Inside front pocket with photo mats. I chose to use some twine that I
had in my stash rather than ribbon for the tags, I thought it suited the feel of the papers.
Also in the front pocket is a pop up card for placing photos on.
As you can see the tag pockets are graduated.
The pockets hold photo mats.
Large paper clips are also used to hold more photo mats.
The back pocket holds another pop up card and more photo mats.
So plenty of room for lots of photos even though the album is small.
There's not a mark on the back of my album, I think maybe my camera lens needs cleaning.

Magical
What wonderful weather we've been having lately, I do hope that it continues through the summer seeing as it seems that we will still be spending quite a bit of time at home. At least with the nice weather we can get into the garden. My card today is for the Allsorts Challenge which this week is Magical Worlds, for those of you who know me, will know that this is just up my street. My problem normally come when I have to make up my mind which stamps to use. I've stuck with my favourite Lavinia Stamps for this card and Pink and Blue distress inks blended together for my background.
I hope you are all keeping well and gretting lots of crafting done.

May Rudolph Days
Wow I can't believe that it's time for the Rudolph Days challenge again already. It seems to have got here very quickly. For this card I followed a tutorial over on a friends FaceBook page, It was easy to make and used a leafy stencil (free on the front of a magazine)and two Lavinia Stamps plus the Christmas stamp (which also came from a free set on a magazine sometime ago). The berries where coloured with a red pen and then I popped glossy accents over the top to give them a shine.
I now have four of these cards to pop into my box for Christmas, which is rushing towards us.
Thank you for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Say It With Flowers
I hope you've all had a lovely weekend? Mine was quiet yesterday as my husband and son (who still lives at home) decided that they would go fishing. Something neither of them has done for a while now. It gave me time time to clear a little space and get my new Sheena Douglas stamps out. This is the card that I made using the rose stamp from the set. I stamped with a Spectrum Noir Finesse ink pad in black then coloured using the only Spectrum Noir Tri blend pen that I have, this was a free gift that was with something else that I had bought. I had not used these pens before and had not splashed out and bought them when they launched as I have so many others. However I have to say that I am quite impressed with the result and it does do what it says on the packet and they do all go together and blend. I found the sentiment stamp to be quite appropriate at the moment.
I'm off now to join in the following challenges:
Stamping Sensations...... Say It With Flowers
Allsorts..... Anything Goes
NBUS...... Never Before Used Stuff (Sheena Douglas Stamp)
Thanks for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.

Another Album
Last Friday evening I spent a very happy 4 1/2 hours crafting along to a Clare Charvill (My Creative Spirit) workshop. It was advertised on Clare's website and once you signed up for it at a small cost of £10.00 you were sent the details of what you would need and the instructions to cut out your card and papers ready. You were also signed up to a special closed group on Facebook and at 6.00 pm Friday evening I and a large group of like minded people crafted along. Another workshop is planned for 22nd and 23rd May this time over 2 nights and 2 hours each night. I'm really looking forward to joining in again.
Above is the front of the Album. I chose to use Graphic 45's Sun Kissed Collection, I had enough left over from a previous project to not have to break into anything new.
This is the front of the Album, it consists of 3 pockets on the this side.
I didn't have room to lay it out flat so above and below are two different views of the pockets and the backs.
Below is the view of the back of the Album which has 2 pockets. I used left over stickers which came with the collection to embellish the Album and I also found I had 4 left over ephemera cards which I turned into photo mats, along with some that I made using some of the left over papers.
Just in case anyone might be interested in Clare's workshops and the upcoming one next week I have added the link at the top straight to the workshop page.

Facebook Craft Along
First let me apologise as this post is photo heavy. I hope that this post finds you all well and enjoying the wonderful VE day sunshine and celebrations. A couple of weeks ago Clare Charvill of My Creative Spirit ran a 7 day facebook daily craft along to make this gorgeous Pockect Album. I love all of Clares work so had to join in with the fun. I found some left over scraps and a new 8X8 pad of Graphic 45 Garden Goddess papers in my stash, this is what I made by following along. This is the link to Clares YouTube page where you will find this workshop over 7 videos.
I raised the ephemera card on the front by popping foam pads underneath and managed to make thefront cover by not having to cut into my new 8x8 pad.
The rest of the album was completed by using it though along with the scraps.
I even made my first pop up card. Clare calls this a tada card, think I like that better.
There are lots of photo mats for you to add photos.
And pockets should you need them.
In the centre the photo mats are pockets also and for these I've made a couple of small tag books.
They were a great size for using up those little bits of left over we are so reluctant to throw away.
4x6 photo mats in the larger pockets.
Another tada card.
And more mats.
The back has been left plain, I just added a sticked that I had leftover on a sheet. The white blob is a reflection on the camera lens i'm glad to say.
Thank you for taking the time to look and your kind comments which are always appreciated.
Take care and stay safe everyone.
